These replaced my factory Bose speakers in my Acura and first time listening to these I felt like I had installed a sound system. Tight Bass, clear mids. I use an iPod through a cassette adapter and these really opened up the sound. I can drive with the windows down and still hear clean crisp sound at high level without distortion. Every now and then I find myself turning down the bass because these can hit low and hit hard.
